These terms govern your use of the Football Detective mobile game. By downloading or playing the game, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
1. The Game
Football Detective is a single-player football quiz game provided for entertainment. We may add, change, or remove features, modes, and content at any time, and may update or discontinue the game.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these terms and the applicable app store's terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, tamper with, or attempt to bypass the game's security, monetization, or progression systems; not to cheat, exploit bugs for unfair advantage, or disrupt other players or our services; and not to use the game in any unlawful way.
4. Virtual Items and Purchases
The game includes virtual items such as coins, mode unlocks, and a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase. Virtual items and coins have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are licensed to you — not sold. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms and refund policies. Except where required by law, purchases and virtual items are non-refundable and may be lost if you uninstall the game, clear its data, or reset your progress.
5. Advertising
Unless you buy "Remove Ads," the game may display banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded ads provided by third parties. Your use of ad-supported features is also subject to those providers' terms and to our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual Property
The game, its code, artwork, and original AI-generated player portraits are protected by intellectual-property laws. Football Detective is an unofficial, fan-made game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any player, club, league, or other rights holder. Player and club names are used for identification and educational purposes only.
7. Disclaimer and Liability
The game is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost progress or virtual items, except where such limitations are not permitted by law.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. You may stop using the game at any time by uninstalling it.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the game or legal requirements change. The latest version and update date will remain available on this page. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
