1. Who We Are

Football Detective is a single-player football quiz game operated by the Football Detective development team. You can play the game without creating an account. You can reach us at sdtyrttpn@gmail.com.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

Game progress, scores, stars, completed and unlocked levels, coin balance, unlocked modes, language, sound and vibration preferences, and cached player data are stored on your device. This information is used to provide game features and preserve your preferences. It is normally removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

3. Information We Process

• Advertising identifiers: When ads are enabled, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may access your device's advertising ID and related information to serve and measure ads. See section 5.
• Purchases: In-app purchases are processed by the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) and our purchase provider (RevenueCat). We receive a purchase/entitlement status (for example, "ads removed"), not your full payment details. See section 6.
• Game-data updates: The app contacts Firebase Hosting to check for updated player data. Standard server logs may include technical information such as IP address, request time, app details, and requested files.
• Daily case configuration: The app reads a public Firebase document and uses the Firebase server response date to decide the single daily case available that day. Changing your phone clock does not create a new daily case.
• Contact: If you email us or use the support page, we receive the information you choose to send (such as your message and email address). Please do not include sensitive personal information.

5. Advertising

Football Detective shows ads through Google AdMob, including banner ads, full-screen interstitial ads, and optional rewarded ads you choose to watch for coins. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier and related data. We do not sell your personal data.

Where required, we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads and honor your choice; if you do not consent, ads are requested on a non-personalized basis. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings. Purchasing Remove Ads disables banner and interstitial ads.

6. In-App Purchases

The game offers optional in-app purchases, including coin packs and a one-time Remove Ads purchase. Payments are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we do not receive or store your card or bank details. Our purchase provider (RevenueCat) helps us validate and restore purchases and gives us a purchase/entitlement status tied to an anonymous identifier. Coins are a virtual in-game item with no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

7. Retention and Security

Local game data remains until it is cleared or the app is removed. Messages you send us are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, improve the game, address abuse, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure.

8. Children

Football Detective is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Please do not include personal information when contacting us. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding personal information, and to manage your advertising consent. You may also clear local game data through your device settings and reset your advertising ID. To make a privacy request, email sdtyrttpn@gmail.com and identify it as a privacy request.

10. International Processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their processing is subject to their safeguards and applicable data-protection requirements.

11. Player Images and Likenesses

The player portraits in Football Detective are original, stylized illustrations generated with the help of AI for gameplay and identification purposes. They are not official photographs and are not copied from any specific copyrighted image. Football Detective is an unofficial, fan-made game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any player, club, league, or other rights holder. Player and club names are used for identification and educational purposes only. If you are a rights holder with a concern about specific content, contact sdtyrttpn@gmail.com and we will review it promptly.
